1. Privacy at a glance

This privacy policy applies to the Chat Cheats website, which provides a collection of prompts and example results for ChatGPT. Chat Cheats does not operate its own chat or send prompts to ChatGPT. Search runs entirely locally in your browser; search terms are not sent to a search service.

3. Website delivery and hosting

When provided through Sites, the website uses Cloudflare infrastructure. Technical access data such as IP address, time of access, requested URL, browser type, operating system and referrer may be processed to deliver and secure the website. The purpose is reliable and secure website delivery; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Cookies, local storage and external content

The website code does not set cookies, use local browser storage or integrate analytics or advertising services. Chat Cheats does not store search terms, your selected language or copied prompts. The selected language is included as a URL parameter; search terms are processed locally in your browser. The URL may appear in the hosting service’s technical access data. When you copy a prompt, its text is written to your device’s clipboard at your request. Styling and fonts are provided locally. Platform sign-in or hosting security features may use their own technically necessary storage mechanisms. Links to CobTech and other external websites open services operated by their respective providers, whose privacy policies apply.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and any information you voluntarily provide to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries; otherwise, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our interest in responding to enquiries. We delete this data when the purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you normally live or work. The Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision is responsible for private companies in Bavaria.
